Furano Ski Resort
Furano is one of the interesting resort which has a good skihill, snowboard park,Sidecountry skiing,and Backcountry skiing.Especially sidecountry is very easy access and fantastic terrain with easy skiout. You will love it.
Asahidake
Asahidake is one of the most popular Sidecountry,Backcountry ski area. There are only 2 big gondola running in this area.The cat track is one big figure 8 between top and bottom gondola stations. You can go wherever you want but with your own risk.Good to have Avalanche beacons.
Tomamu Ski Resort
There is lot of side country in Tomamu.Easy in Easy out.Backcountry is not so steep but nice and long.Beautiful place.
Tokachidake
Tokachidake mountain ranges is for totally Backcountry skiing.
Nice and quiet area. Choose your line and Onsen after.
Kamui ski Links
Kamui has many sidecountry skiing.Steep terain and Gentle one.You are still in skihill area. It is just like backcountry park.
Rishirifuji
Rishiri Island is just to the north of Hokkaido.This needs your good body condition and strength. 5days trip staying in a mountain hut with your sleepingbag.Bring your Ice axe and crampons with you.The terrain is wild but beautiful.Ski from the sky to the sea.
Kurodake
One big gondola will bring you to Kurodake ski area. There is one small chair lift.That is it.Back country skiing.Nice and wide terrain.
